Installation Guide

Follow these steps carefully before and during installation of the MagGuard®.

Installation Steps

    Inspect the MagGuard before use. If you notice any deformities or damage, dispose of the cap and replace it. Do not use a damaged cap.

  2. 2

    Confirm you are using the correct size MagGuard for your threaded rod.

    Confirm the threaded rod meets the minimum required length of 1.25".

  4. 4

    Hold the MagGuard below the exposed rod end and raise it until the internal magnet snaps into contact. The cap should sit vertically centered on the rod end. If it feels off-center, remove and reposition.

  5. 5

    Attach the optional hazard warning flag to the designated attachment point on the cap.

Holding power varies with surface material, coatings, rust, or debris. Confirm adherence before use. Do not rely solely for safety-critical tasks.

Keep out of reach of children. Not a toy. Product does not support additional suspended loads.
